Data Error – Cyclic Redundancy Check – Can’t Read from Disc

while copying content from one of my old disc (CD) to my computer I have received the following error message “Data Error – Cyclic Redundancy Check ” and copying failed. The error message said Cannot copy [file name]: Data error (cyclic redundancy check ). So I decide to check what is this error and the actual reason for this error.
