In the recent Facebook update, they allow third party Facebook Application developers to access some of user’s sensitive data like mobile phone number and local address. I do not think it is a good move by Facebook to let some unknown persons to access my important details like my mobile phone number and local address. Though Facebook says, it is optional for users and still users have the power to prevent Applications to access their basic data, many may accidentally click on allow button without reading what this message for. I am ok with genuine Facebook Application developers but there are so many malicious developers too. So I think it is better remove my mobile number and local address from Facebook to avoid further issues.
