If you are in a public cafe, it is not advised to type your user name and passwords using regular keyboards. It is because, if there is any key logger installed in your computer they can see what you type and send it to their Creator. So your user name and password for your accounts (say online banking or email account) are revealed to them. In order to avoid such a chance it is recommended to use virtual keyboard to type user name and password to access your account. In Windows XP, built in virtual keyboard is called Windows On Screen Keyboard.
