Putty

If you need to connect remotely to any computer, secure shell (SSH) is really handy. Designed to replace the old telnet and rsh protocols, ssh provides secure connections. One of the best open source implementations of the SSH protocols is putty. It is very light weight and it available for both windows and Unix platforms. Since the windows version is possible to run without installing it, it works fine to have the executable on your usb stick giving you the opportunity to securely connect to any computer while you are on the road.
