Steps to install SeaMonkey browser on Ubuntu Linux

1. Download SeaMonkey
The first step to install SeaMonkey on Ubuntu Linux is download it from Mozolla release. The download link of SeaMonkey is:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/
You can select the best suited versions of SeaMonkey from this page. It is advised to install the stable old version of SeaMonkey unless you are a Linux Genius.
It is better save the zipped file in /home/user name directory.
The file name should be like “seamonkey-1.1.18.en-US.linux-i686.installer.tar.gz” where 1.1.18 is the version.
2. Unzip the downloaded file
You can unzip the file by right click on it and click on extract here option.
3. Double click on seamonkey-installer-bin
4. Installation wizard
Accept the licence agreement and select the installation mode.
For modes are there:
i. Typical
ii. Complete
iii. Navigator
iv. Custom
You can select the mode you want and select the location of the SeaMonkey folder.
You can perform the installation using terminal also. The command you need to type to install SeaMonkey on Terminal is:

cd seamonkey-installer gksudo ./seamonkey-installer

Follow the instructions and the SeaMonkey will be installed on your computer.
5. Launch SeaMonkey
To launch SeaMonkey on your computer type SeaMonkey on Terminal and press enter.
