Like the Windows XP,Vista too have a built in admin user account. But the difference is in Vista the default Administrator account is hidden and disabled. The default administrator account cannot be found under the administrators group and by default it is being disabled.
How to unlock the default Administrative Account in Windows Vista
To turn off the default Administrative Account in Windows Vista follow the steps provided below.
1: Click on Windows logo and click search
2: On search Window type cmd and press enter
3. Right-clicking the command prompt icon that appears at the top of the Start menu, then selecting Run as administrator
4. On Command prompt enter the command “Net user administrator /active:yes ” and press enter.
Note: Please avoid “” from the above command
5. To disable and hide the default Windows Vista Administrator account use the following command.
Net user administrator /active:no
